Anybody do anything special to celebrate the solstice ?

I had my own private ceremony to greet the rising sun here - [looking east over the North Sea]

BTW Anybody see the BBC prog last night on Stonehenge ? What an absolute circus !

I saw the pictures.   No wonder they have fenced off the area....

Didn't see the programme but the celebrations seemed pretty peaceful. Shame that so many dragged up the old pictures of the riots in previous years when people were not allowed in.

I used to do large, elaborate celebrations, but now I only do that when I really feel in the mood. I prefer something simple that blends well with what I'm going to do that day anyway. Every wheel of the year holiday, I always do something to honor the day.
