    Hello, everyone.

    Here is a little Meditation I learned from a old friend of mine.

    Sit comfertable, Back straight. Your head facing straight.

    •take a breath in for 4.
    •take a breath out for 4.

    Keep doing this and as your do this for a couple of minutes you'll start to realise that you're drifting into a state where you're not conscious of where you're are.

    You're are in your own "inner self".

    I have not meditated much in the past, but thought I would try again last night. So, I laid down in my bed, and relaxed, tried clearing my mind and blocking out the outside noises (traffic....wind blowing...etc...) and I was seeing my favorite beach and feeling the sand, the breeze  :med:  and all of a sudden I "hear" this very loud "BOOM" and it jarred me and I opened my eyes. I thought at first it was something outside, like the wind bc it was blowing hard last night, or a big rig tire had a blow out (we live by a major trucking route) but it was not an audible sound. I asked my hubby if he heard it and he didn't hear anything.  So I relaxed again and tried it again and I heard the loud "BOOM!" again. Is this common sometimes with meditation? Sorry if it is a stupid question.....as I said I have very few times meditated before and twice I "heard" the same loud noise but it wasn't audible.  :scratch:
