To be honest, I have never really thought about it! I suppose I would be in a place of my own choosing, I think its whatever you imagine it to be. If its pearly gates you imagine, maybe you might see that, or a beautiful garden, you might see that also. I do believe though its a plane of pure love and healing for souls to feel nurtured after expereincing perhaps a rather traumatic incarnation.

I hope it's peaceful, for some it must be quite a shock to wake up over there and like you I believe there's a place of healing for such souls

I think Heaven is a wonderful place, where you can do many things you want. Clouds, maybe with blue skies. And family members gather around to be together forever and with your friends. With Jesus near us, and having a big celebration. Specially when new spirits come in.

Hi Gloria, AngelTony posted a nice picture in the Christianity section which looks like your description of heaven I thought of that picture as I read your post.

I'm sure there are great celebrations when a spirit goes 'home'

If you want to know what it will be like read "Life in the World Unseen" by Anthony Borgia who received the information, via automatic writing and clairaudience, from his friend, the communicator, Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson, who delightfully shows us, with both humour and compassion, how many of our preconceived notions of 'the next life' are substantially incorrect. Benson is the son of a former Archbishop of Canterbury.

On passing to the spirit world, every person, regardless of colour or creed, will find themselves the inheritors of precisely the spiritual abode to which their earthly lives have befitted them. The spirit world is the land of the great harvest, the seeds of which were sown upon the earth: "Whatever a man sows, that shall he reap" has its full and just application. Those who find themselves in the bleak and meagre surroundings of the dark realms have only themselves to reproach, for what they see about them is an outward expression of the current state of their spiritual progression. Just as the beauties of the light realms are created and upheld by theirs inhabitants, so have the conditions of the dark realms been brought about: beauty of deed and thought can produce nothing but beauty.

We have been taught to believe that God punishes, actually punishes people by condemning them to Hell for all eternity. The churches have built up a monstrous conception of the Eternal Father of Heaven. It is man alone who qualifies himself for the state of his existence after his passing into spirit. There is no 'Judgement Day' to fear - that which has always been such a powerful weapon in the ecclesiastical armoury; every soul living in the dark realms has judged themselves.

Spiritual progression is the birthright of every soul, however, and no matter how low they may have sunk spiritually, it is within the power of each and everyone to attain to the highest heaven; nothing stands in their way but themselves. Great organisations exist in the spirit world with dedicated helpers working to assist all those affected souls who live in darkness, with the hope that they will rise out of it into the light. The urge, however, must come from within the fallen soul himself.

Adherence to any religious faith, in itself, has no relevance, or bearing, towards ones inheritance in the great world of spirit. Services that are performed for a fellow being, with no other intention than that of helping him, or of bringing him some good, is the substance of which spiritual progression is composed. Those good deeds are reflected back upon us, and so go to make up our inheritance in the spirit world. No service, however small, or however unobtrusively performed, is overlooked or gone 'unrecorded', and each go to add still more colour to our spiritual make up.

Religion being such a potent force, however, it binds the minds of so many good people. Whole communities of people can be found who still exercise their old earthly religion. They are free to do so, and no pressure is brought to bear upon them, for free will is an ever-respected attribute of life in spirit realms. The members of these communities know that they have passed on, but think that part of their heavenly reward is to continue with their man-made forms of worship. They will continue to do so until such time as a spiritual awakening takes place; mental resurrection, however, must come from within.

There are also those who fervently uphold that a future state does not exist, or those who never gave the matter much thought. These individuals also have to be helped in their early days. Simply showing the newly arrived soul what kind of place the spirit world is does much useful work however, and many soon but realise that: Orthodoxy is man-made, but that the universe is God-given.

In company with Ruth (whose meeting Monsignor describes in this volume) Edwin, an old friend and colleague, acts as their guide, showing them the beauties of their new life and the freedom that comes with it...

    Hello
Well in working with Spirits and being at times a Channel for them I know that there is more learnings that does happen. The Spirit lives on just not in the physical form of the body.
I can share what its like from the point of view of one that has not made that transisiton to the Light in their passing. Well actually I have many but one that deeply touched me.

    The story of John

John was a young man of 18 that died sadly from doing a stupid thing many young people do drinking and driving. He was out with friends and never made it home. He too never made that transition to the Light at the moment of his death. John wondered Earth Bound for several year’s not fully understanding what was up with him.

John found me one morning as I was taking a shower. This time though the contact made was different and rather alarming. He came “right in” without giving more of an explanation that that, I was stunned. I stepped from the shower and grabbed the towel. John was sitting on the tub edge looking down realizing what he had done was very wrong. I was not angry but I wanted to know why.

He told me of his funeral service that he attended and how nice MOST of it was. He then talked about what his Father said. In front of over 100 people his Father stood up and said me Son died not a man. He made a commitment to be celibate with his girlfriend of two year’s so he died without becoming a man. His girlfriend was right there and I can image how she felt. So when John realized he could “touch” me he decided to make what he saw as a wrong a right. He thought he would please his Father in doing that deed and then he would find peace.

I assured him I could help him and that what he did was wrong but I held nothing against him for it as I know understood why. Too I feel I must have sensed there was a reason as I was so calm about it happening. Was over in a blink of the eye.

I opened the door of light for John to move into and he went over. It was a few hours later he came back to thank me. To tell me he now understood what happened to him, and that what his Father felt and said was very wrong. Told me that there was so much peace there and forgiveness as he did not die in the car alone. On the other side there are things to clear as issues from ye and lessons to be learned. BUT there is never full on punishment as to err is human.

My take on this will be different to others as we all see and think differently, i am a medium not something i decided to take up it choose me i was born with it, i believe in the Great Spirit , when we pass over we all have a choice do we learn more , it is onlt those who have reached the highest plane that can become guides, the have learnt all there is to learn they are like us on the earth plane we show an interst in one or two things, we learn that other guides will be the master of another trade , thats why your guides change, its no good having to go through a court case here when your guide specialises in peaceful options, i know when i was fighting the NHS the guide i had was an Indian warrior who helped me, when it was over my usual guide took over again,

there are The Halls of Learning in the spirit world, where we can perfect what our interests are, this is my belief others will have other ideas

hi native amercian. words of wisdom and knowledge. i would say what you say is what i know to be. i have my main guide but he has said that is i go completely under, another will step forward though he will still always remain with me. he has also said those on the team - the scientists will change as progression occurs eg when a scientiest has done what he needs to at the beginning, he will then leave as another more specialised takes over at that stage and that will carry on as in the future things start to move in the room...and so on towards materialisation. so my main guide will remain but he has said as i go completely under, another will step forward who is already waiting and watching. and he will step back to be with me and he will always be with me. one guy who speaks has already said he is here at the early stages to test the pitch and tones of the voices and will go when his work is done x
