    Sharing Goddess Card Message

Post  CW on Thu Oct 21, 2010 6:59 pm

    Greetings to all.....

I bring you a message from the Roman Goddess of good fortune, abundance and prosperity. Her name is Abundantia

The universe is pouring its abundance out to you. Be open to receiving it! Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength. You are very powerful.
Abundantia - is pouring her cornucopia of prosperity upon you now, so expect unforeseen windfalls and gifts.
Sit with a green candle, think of yourself and see the abundance come into your life. You already have it. Ask the Goddess Abundantia to come in. Dance with her, offer her something wonderful to drink and the do an abundance dance with her. Turn on the music that makes you soul sing. Then keep a special place in your hours dedicated to her. Fill that corner or place with flowers, coins, crystals all the gifts for her help. See the prosperity come flying into your life. Thank Abundantia and dance with her often.

    Quote Wikipedia
    Within Roman mythology,
the figure of Abundantia was considered to be a minor deity: the
personification of luck, abundance and prosperity, and was also the
guardian of the cornucopia – the horn of plenty. It was with this that she distributed food and money. The main version of the origin of the cornucopia is similar in both the Greek
and the Roman mythology, in which the king of the gods, having
accidentally broken the horn of the mystical goat in play, promised that
the horn would never run empty the fruits of her desire. The horn was
then later to be passed into the keeping of Abundantia.
While there are few temples or signs of worship for Abudantia to be found within Rome,
she has also been described in the past as 'the beautiful maiden of
success', and as such is largely featured in art. Often portrayed as
holding the cornucopia and sheaves of corn or wheat , while allowing the contents to fall to the ground, Abundantia's form has graced Roman coins in ages past.

May the love of the Goddess Abundantia be with you forever......

    Love to all..

    Mary Magdalene

Post  CW on Tue Oct 26, 2010 3:25 pm

This Goddess is no stranger to modern civilization, most known as the maiden washing Jesus feet. Mary Magdalen is referred to as a prostitute or sinner amongst the so called righteous population. Nevertheless, Mary Magdalene overlooks these false judgments, unconditionally forgiving, with her beautiful sweet energy

A message from Mary Magdalene - Love yourself, others and every situation, no matter what the outward appearances may be. Please don't worry about what others think or say, With love comes healing. Send love to those who have hurt or misjudged you. Forgive yourself for what you think you've done or not done. Release old unforgiven bondage toward others to help yourself heal and move on. Remember where you dwell in consciousness is where you truly dwell. Therefore focus your thoughts on the good things that you can find in people, and rise above all appearances otherwise.

Call on Mary Magdalene to help with forgiveness, and opening your heart to more love.

    Goddess Ishtar

Post  CW on Wed Nov 03, 2010 1:35 pm

Ishtar - is an acient Goddess of Babylonian times. Ishtar come to teach us how to set boundaries, how not to give to much of ourselves. Don't do things out of guilt or obligations.

A message from Ishtar - A sincere desire to give of service is wonderful! However, there's a distinction between giving of yourself and giving up yourself. If you are feeling tired, resentful or guilty while helping others, then, you are not helping them, are you? Actually, you are injecting poisonous energies into the relationship (no one benefits from that). Always set and respect your own boundaries, others will began to recognize & respect them within you.

Love yourself enough to say "NO" to those who demand to much of your time and energy.

Green Tara - is a Hindu and Buddhist Goddess whose name means "star" in the ancient Sanskrit language.

A message from Green Tara - Delegation is the main focus of Green Tara. When you feel resentment in you heart because you're carrying more than your share of the load, you are doing no favors for anyone. The secret of true productivity doesn't come through struggle and strife. Rather, it comes from a clear and focused mind that is unchallenged by indecisiveness. Making decisions is the shortest route to triumphant passages. Once you make up your mind the rest follows quite naturally. Take time for contemplations and rest, you need a private moment. Sit quietly and follow the footsteps of your own mind. Be open to your hearts meanderings and they will quietly lead you to make your most important decisions.

Today, you can delegate; allow others to help instead of trying to do everything by yourself.

Brigit - A Celtic triple Goddess, which mean she represent three aspects of woman; the young virgin, the nurturing and loving mother. She has the same warrior energy as the Archangel Michael. She is celebrated worldwide on February 1, the ancient sacred day called "Imbolc", with marks the beginning of spring time and increasing daylight.

Message from Brigit - Don't back down, stand up for what you believe is right. Be quite clear about our intentions. Your indecisive confusion will lessen your power and force. Like a candle in the dark, be very clear and bright in what is acceptable to you in all situations. Think of the unparalleled rise in your own viewpoint if you are to stand up for yourself. and speak up about your needs and deepest truth! Touch your power, for its heat and flame will ignite our passion, and propel you forward.

Be unwavering, make your stand today!

    The Goddess Hathor

Post  CW on Wed Nov 24, 2010 3:52 pm

Hathor - An Egyptian Goddess represented by the head of a cow to symbolize the sacred animals life-giving milk and mothering. She is a benevolent sky and sun Goddess who helps with all aspects of child conception. Call upon Hathor to guide you in nurturing yourself and your loved ones.

Message from Hathor - You have a maternal side to you that naturally cares for those in need, yet this must be balanced with receptivity or the flow is blocked. Receiving is the essence of feminine energy, and it means allowing yourself to receive with grace and gratitude. If you feel bad about receiving gifts, then you block your feminine energy. Your receptivity is just as natural as your nurturing, giving energy. Receptivity allows you to better hear the voice of the angels. When you receive, you have more resources to give to others. Begin by noticing he hundreds of gifts you receive each day, whether it's seeing beauty in nature, witnessing a touching human moment, or being hugged by a loved one.

Instruction - Be still and listen, Release guilt about receiving, Ask for help. This Goddess is extremely helpful with matters that involve Child conception, pregnancy, or birth, including adoption or custody arrangements.

Allow yourself to receive. This will increase your intuition, energy, and ability to give to others.

    Brigit = Brigid = Brigantia
Brigantia, patron goddess of the Brigantes [ Celtic Confederation of Northern England]
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brigantia_%28goddess%29

Centre of her worship in Celtic times was Thornborough Henge, North Yorkshire [ as old as Stonehenge and older than the Pyramids !] and STILL honoured now. Every year I go there for the Beltain Moot of local pagans and Brigantia is invoked.

    Re: Sharing Goddess Card Message

    Goddess Worship during Biblical times:

Further south, as Judaism, Christianity & eventually Islam evolved, the Pagan religions were suppressed and the female principle was gradually driven out of religion. Women were considered inferior to men. The God, King, Priest & Father replaced the Goddess, Queen, Priestess & Mother. The role of women became restricted. A woman's testimony was not considered significant in Jewish courts; women were not allowed to speak in Christian churches; positions of authority in the church were limited to men. Young women are often portrayed in the Bible as possessions of their fathers. After marriage, their ownership was transferred to their husbands. Yeshua of Nazareth (a.k.a. Jesus Christ) rejected millennia
of religious tradition by treating women as equals. Women played a major role in the early Christian church. Later, epistle (letter) writers who wrote in the name of Paul, started the process of suppressing women once more.

A feminine presence was added to Christianity by the Council of Ephesus in 431 CE when the Virgin Mary was named Theotokos (Mother of God). But her role was heavily restricted and included none of the fertility component present in Pagan religions. A low point in the fortunes of women was reached during the very late Middle Ages, when many tens of thousands of suspected female witches (and a smaller proportion of males) were exterminated by burning and hanging over a three century interval. Today, respect for the Virgin Mary as a sexually "pure," submissive mother is widespread, particularly in Roman Catholicism.

Today I know that all women are Goddesses, we can awaken our natural qualities of healing, fertility, love, abundance, etc.. We can also connect with the elements to enhance these qualities by spending more time with earth, wind, fire or water. IMHO God has no respect of person or time. The miraculous things we read today about Goddess are still prevalent within each and every modern female today.

    Awaken your Goddess potential!
    Love to all...
