    Clairvoyance

Post  Violet on Sat Feb 28, 2009 12:44 am

Clairvoyance is the ability to 'see' spirit, and quite literally means 'clear seeing.'

    Clairvoyance?      You are so right,Violet.

    To see spirit.
To be able to describe spirit.
But those who can see spirit, describe what has been your clearest view of them.

The clearest view of them?  Thinking they were a living person until they faded away right in front of my eyes.  :asmile:

Not only we can see spirit.

It allows us to see different types of energies for example... Aura(electto magnetic field)

Just reading Violet's post makes me think and realise the number of 'people' who we have 'seen' and wondered where they have disappeared to....
Have you ever seen a stranger or maybe someone has spoken to us on the street,we turned to answer them and there's no one there.
    Make one think.....:giggles:

Traditionally clairvoyance is how Violet has described it.  The discernment of auras is not (traditionally) considered to be clairvoyance

And the aura of an incarnate isn't an electromagnetic field although it might be thought of in that way as a means of gaining an approximate mental image of what is is.  The aura of an inanimate object may, or may not, be an electromagnetic one but to the best of my knowledge that hasn't ever been demonstrated.

Actually, clairvoyance is "seeing" stuff that is not physical. does  not mean you can only see spirits

Actually, traditionally, clairvoyance relates to evidential mediumship....

I'm over four times your age and thoroughly traditional in my outlook concerning mediumship and communication albeit with an approach based on what is, or used to be, the traditional Spiritualism approach to both.  That influences how I see matters but I am very much aware that nowadays mediumship, and mediums, are often seen in ways very different to the Spiritualist one.

I've Notice you've brought my age up a couple of time. I'm starting to get a little offended by it now.

I'm not offended if you mention my age so why would you be when I have simply pointed out that because I'm much older than you we see things differently?

It was a point you'd already made yourself and I was explaining one reason why that might be...
