Did Meldrew turn up Wyldeflower? It must be worrying when you get used to seeing them then suddenly they aren't there.

Violet..No i havnt seen Meldrew for ages but their are three lakes in the area one here in my village and the other two in other villages so he may be on them .The lake by my house is only a fishing lake and has only a handful of ducks on it.The duck lake here was busy this morning but no sign of him..I took loads of food up today as its icy.

Hi Mike you need to put the pics into your comp if you can send via email you should be able to post them here fairly easily.
Once they are in your comp click this symbol above in your post.
This will bring up a box with this in:
    Upload your image

File is checked already so just click browse to find your pic

browse your comp until you find the pic you want then click the 'host it' button at the bottom, it will then give you the choice of thumbnail or image (ignore the bottom option, and don't click 'upload') I recommend image.

Simply copy the link from that heading and paste into your post

Hi Wyldeflower are these the birds with the red eyes? I'm sure I have some pics of these and their babies on and island type nest, if I remember rightly the babies are very cute little things and dad is very fatherly and helps all he can.
