    Meditation Workbook

Post  Auras on Mon Dec 18, 2017 4:41 pm

I figured, I would start a meditation Diary or Journal, however you want to call it! Simply because I want to be able to look back at this thread and see how I have progressed(Hoping that I do stick with it). My life is rather busy and don't really get any "me" time so I am going to try and make an effort here.  I have set a few small goals for the time being. They are

    1. Meditating at least once per day.

    1. Meditating at least 5 minutes per session.

Since my girlfriend was working today, I thought I would nicely take this opportunity to Meditate. So, I get into bed and lie down into a comfortable position. I close my eyes and I begin to take a few slow, deep breaths. At this moment in time, I felt like I was starting to relax. I was expecting my thoughts to be going like crazy, They actually weren't. I shift my focus back to my breath, Taking deep breaths once again, but this time I was trying to visualise white light/clouds going in and when breathing out the colour black to try and get rid of any tension. I noticed that I couldn't really focus on the visualisation, So I changed things up. I set the intention that I was breathing in positivity, and breathing out the negativity. My intention worked, I became so relaxed that my breathing became so blissful, It felt good to be able to breathe. The feeling of breathing so nicely filled me up with joy and happiness. It's hard to describe the feeling I had, It felt so soft. I spend a few more moments just experiencing this feeling and suddenly start opening my eyes slowly and coming back to reality. I feel relaxed. This meditation was needed.

All this is really heartening to hear, Josh, and you've moved on so far from where you were a couple of years back.  I don't give advice but I hope that for now you'll focus on yourself, your girlfriend and the lives you share.  The spiritual stuff can justifiably occupy second place and will always be there for later in life.

Thanks for your kind words, Mac.

    #day 2.
Today I've had a quite a bit of a headache so Instead of doing 5 minutes of Meditation, I took a few moments just to deeply relax. I lay there for a few moments and take a few deep breaths. My goal here is to focus on my breathe. I became aware that my mind starts to wander, several times. I bring my focus back. and am still taking deep breaths in and I notice that each time I do this it feels as though the top half of my body is wobbling.( This only happened when I was breathing in, Never breathing out) I was laying down flat, So my body was completely still. I began to feel nice and deeply relaxed, Like I was sinking deeper and deeper. My eye lids became heavier and heavier and felt a vibrant energy cover the whole of my body. I decided to open my eyes and carry on with my day, Feeling relaxed.

    #day 3
Upon wakening this morning I figured I'd do some meditation, This one was quite different from the other two, As normally My mind doesn't wander often but this time every time I got my focus back onto my breathe, Either I would simply get lost in my thoughts or I would fall into some kind of imagery. Perhaps I should have waited a while after waking up, eh? :giggles: There was still that feeing of deep relaxation, so I'm happy about that.

I suddenly stopped for some reason, Spending sometime with girlfriend for Christmas and new year. I've always wondered about clairvoyance, Physic abilities, Mediumship. I have had many mediumship/Psychic experiences when I got into my teens. Like the time I seen an Angel imprinted on my bedroom wall, Then boom its gone when I blink. The time also before dropping off to sleep, I felt a massive wave of vibrations which felt very healing, That feeling lasted with me for days. Seeing bright flashes/ hearing knocks on my wall before dosing off to sleep. Also, Hearing my name called loudly as if there was someone right next to me which makes me up. One of my faviroute experiences was were I was walking to school and I got the image that I was going to meet my friend by his street, So I begin to walk past his street, and there he is. I was amazed. This happened a few times. Feels Nice to be able to look back at my experiences.

Back on topic. I wanted to work on my Third eye last night, It went all nice until I started to feel this ache/feeling light header after it.Though it did feel as though Images could flow through my mind a lot "smoother" which was a nice relaxing experience.

I haven't posted in here for quite some time now.

I have been meditating for the past 2 weeks now, Experiencing some nice stuff.

    - Having conversations with myself whilst I'm not fully aware of whats being said.
    - Third is beginning to open- strong feeling in my third eye.
    - strong feelings in my third eye.
    - strong feelings in my solar plexus.
    - waves of vibrations slowly going down my body. Energy feels pure.
    - Hearing my name being called.
    - Hearing bangs while drifting off to sleep.
    - seeing people walking past in the corner of my eye but when I go to look there is no one there. (this was outside ).
    -  I'm starting to have more vivid dreams from meditating.

I suffer from anxiety in reality, I hardly go outside because I find it hard to socialise with people I don't know. Are they going to be nice? I don't know. but this is one of the reason I've started meditation because It makes me feel positive. I'm usually a negative person but since restarting,  every time I have a negative thought, I turn it around into a positive which I'm going to keep doing and hope it carries on for the future.

Auras, I have spent most of my life in meditation and have thousands of hours of meditation experience. So what are you doing for exercise? Because exercise is a critical part of what it is that you are attempting to do with meditation. Exercise and breathing. What are you doing for exercise Auras? Meditation without exercise and breathing will eventually take you out of the world into your mind and it will be very hard to bring you back. Being constantly negative and fearful will make you sick and could kill you, so something does have to be done about that :asmile: . And meditation is a good place to start. But, along with meditation (and just out of curiosity who is your teacher and what kinds of meditations are you learning?) you also need breathing and exercise. Ok?

    Love, tucker.

I don't do much exercise due to how I feel, I feel very isolated, I'm very aware of this. I've had a negative attitude for quite a few years now, but I don't tend to show it because I like to keep my thoughts and feelings to myself. I've had quite a bad past which why I feel like this. I just get on with my life like everyone else does. As for meditation goes, I don't have a teacher. My meditations are just me focusing on my breath to enter a relaxed state. That's all my intentions are. It works, and I come out feeling great most of the time, and that's the aim.

I spent all of my life (I am 68) just like you and meditation was the only place that I could go to find peace and feel good about myself.
