Hope you enjoy interacting on this spiritual forum.

(Apologies for suggesting to you this intro thread, i.e. when I saw your post in the fav film section, I didn't realise you had already made an entry here!  It didn't show in the new posts section for some reason.)

I like Bruce Lee too, I remember watching his movie when I was 8. Until now I still watch his movies, I love the one inch punch also on his demo.

I like his quotes too, that's when I watch his movie sometimes when I remember his quotes.

Hello Aube oh yes I have the box set of Bruce Lee's movies in fact they are still on VHS lol but I will not part with them ha ha ha. I also have a few Bruce Lee books, I just love watching him.  I remember when I was young my uncle had hand written a book for me And for the life of me I cannot remember what it was called but it was all about Philosophies and quotes on Kung Fu, sadly I leant it out to my Sensi at my Karate club, forgot all about it and never got it back. Oh it is going to drive me doolally now thinking what it was called  , if I remember I will let you know.

    Bruce Lee is an icon.

My mother got frustrated in trying to make me wear skirts and dresses when I was kid.

I was one of the boys then playing with karate sticks ( called chako here), guns, bows and arrows. Hahaha
    Happy days!

  Lol Oh yes I was a bit of a tom boy when I was younger, I would much rather been clambering up tree's then skipping away with the girls, I used to love playing with the lads at school in the afternoon, pretending to be bat man hahaha. Then when I joined karate back then it was more for self-defence, not many lasses stuck it, but I continued and being the only lass in the group. Oh I do miss the Kata's rather than the sparring, kata's just blew me away  :goodvibes: .

Martial arts is not only good for self defense it also teaches self discipline and  ways of being proactive.

It boost your morale, you feel your strength because you have the knowledge and skills but keeps you on low profile because of the wisdom taught along with it.
And that's what martial arts movies' messages that were trying to convey as I watched it over and over.
