    Energy drained

Post  Aube Borealis on Sun Jul 30, 2017 4:08 am

7 years ago, I attended a friend's birthday suffering from cancer, one of her guessed asked us guests to pray over our common friend. What I noticed was my energy was being sucked and after the prayer, I felt drained.

Is there something wrong with the prayer leader? Or did something  Wrong in the process or the way she did it?
We knew the woman is not a good person but I joined the prayer thinking it's for a good cause.

    Any thoughts?

The disease itself may have been a factor. What caused the disease may have been what you felt.

Thanks, I never thought of that. Maybe you're right.

But to be safe, I'll just say my prayers on my on, I felt that time she was drawing energy from us guests without knowing but I saw others became drained and we're planned to cheer her up but the party became lifeless. With lack of knowledge about energy, I didn't bother then to ask thinking it was normal and that's the way it's done.

Maybe you just didn't want to be there.

Oh no, she's a close friend who confides to me. I planned and called common friends ( known to be respectable good people) in the neighborhood to surprise her, we brought food and to our surprise another group came (known bullies and gossipers) from the same neighborhood and They were the ones who initiated the prayer over.

I have been civil with them and help defend them on case as a peacemaker here. I always attend their invites whenever I can.

As you know, prayer is a kind of meditation. You may have felt drained earlier, but did not get in touch with it until after prayers.

For me personally prayer is a wast of time, so it would bore me to death, just saying.
